Mold Masters is a well-established multilocation mold testing and assessment, and mold removal and remediation firm serving North, South, and Central Florida from three different offices.
The company says it uses “an EPA approved system that is guaranteed to kill microbes that are lingering in your home or commercial property,” which appears to be a form of dry fogging, along with actual mold removal/remediation.
Mold Masters was founded in 2018 and has serviced the local area since. Company founders Chase Cornia and Jennie Archibald, “have been dealing with mold for over 20 years and all across the country! We love our customers and helping them live healthier, happier lives by using safe and organic practices. We pride ourselves on being able to offer high value, affordable, top notch service,” according to the company’s website.

Note — Florida legally limits the work a mold assessor can perform for one client:
In Florida, a mold assessor may not offer to perform mold remediation within one year of their mold assessment. This prevents a conflict of interest that might otherwise occur if a single company (or individual) were to convince a homeowner they needed mold remediation, and then turn around and do that often costly work. Mold testing/assessment and mold removal/remediation should be done by two different companies.
Note — Fogging alone isn’t complete mold remediation
(Mold Masters performs full and proper mold remediation and removal. Fogging is one part of their protocol, not their entire system.)
Fogging alone is not a complete form of mold remediation, as moldy building material has to be physically removed from a property, according to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), U.S. CDC, and EPA: “Items that cannot be properly cleaned and dried within 24-48 hours must be removed and thrown away, including structural and personal property.” – FEMA, Fact Sheet: Mold: Problems and Solutions (Oct. 24, 2017) You should not hire a “mold remediation company” that only offers fogging of your home, attic, or crawl space.)
